So why would you want bluetooth? Well there are lots of reasons; you can send pictures to friend's mobile phones, play wireless games with friends, transfer files between your computer and mobile phone and many others. There are lots of reasons for using bluetooth and it depends on what you primarily use your mobile phone for, the most popular is sending pictures, photos and videos to other mobile phones.

To use bluetooth there on most mobile phones you have to enable it in the options or it will not work, this is to prevent unauthorised access to your mobile phone from criminals who can do all kinds of nasty activities on your phone if they get access so it is wise to keep bluetooth turned off unless you are using it. To connect with other devices they will also have to have a bluetooth connection, most mobile phones have one but lots of computers do not but you can buy a cheap bluetooth dongle that connects to your computer's USB port and gives a bluetooth connection.
